Our Values

Our Collection

After being in the fashion industry for three years we noticed that there was something missing - no suppliers could supply us all items in sizes for everyone.

We heard your frustration and quickly figured that the only way for us to make a difference would be to do it ourselves.

But that’s not all.. We decided to go BIG!

We have worked closely with a local designer to create our own dream and exclusive patterns. Making our collections exclusive and special.  Each collection is a one off drop! So no 2 collections will ever be the same.

All womens sizing in our Love Ellis Rose collections will now be ranging from a size 6 to a size 24 and that is a standard in every single collection we launch.

We then decided, why don't we cater for all? We have had so much demand for a Mini's Range to match with your little mini me and a Mens Range as we know our customers struggle to find nice items for the men in their life!
So we've decided to deliver on these too.

Thank YOU for being so patient with us over the last few years and we hope that you all can see that at Love Ellis Rose we truly believe that everyone deserves to feel beautiful.

Our Vision - Let's Break The Stigma!

Owners, Kurt & Keiara are high school sweethearts who in 2016 gave birth to a beautiful little girl Mila who was born with a Unilateral Cleft lip deformity.

Keiara started documenting her journey on YouTube through parenting & navigating through raising a strong little girl with a mission to break the stigma around deformities & differences.

With every 250 orders we donate funds to do a cleft lip or palate repair to give children with a cleft deformity an easier start in life.
Every 3 minutes a child is born with a cleft condition & doesn’t have access to the health care facilities we are privileged to have.

What is a Cleft Lip?
The lips form between the fourth and seventh weeks of pregnancy. As a baby develops during pregnancy, body tissue and special cells from each side of the head grow toward the center of the face and join together to make the face. This joining of tissue forms the facial features, like the lips and mouth. A cleft lip happens if the tissue that makes up the lip does not join completely before birth. This results in an opening in the upper lip.

What is a Cleft Palate?
The roof of the mouth (palate) is formed between the sixth and ninth weeks of pregnancy. A cleft palate happens if the tissue that makes up the roof of the mouth does not join together completely during pregnancy.

Where do the donations go?
Operation Smile Australia is a children’s medical charity that is dedicated to helping improve the lives of children born with cleft lips, cleft palates and other facial deformities in developing countries.

A child is born every three minutes with a craniofacial condition, often unable to speak, eat, socialise or smile. In some places, and in too many cases, their parents cannot afford to give them the surgeries they need to live a normal life.

At Operation Smile Australia they believe every child deserves exceptional surgical care. That’s what drives them: their global network of medical professionals, who donate hundreds of thousands of hours toward the care of children around the world each year, and their supporters who are moved every day to make a difference in the lives of children they’ve never met.

Our Ethics

As a small business, we pride ourselves in our values. After being in the fashion industry for a few years, we made the decision to drop limited edition pieces which will reduce waste and over-stocking. We have designed pieces to last, with quality and style. Designed by our team locally and created in China with quality standards in production. We have sourced suppliers that are BSCI Certified which ensures ethical labour practices. We aim to focus on staples and quality items that will last, to help reduce single-use purchases & over-production. As we grow, we will continue to learn of ways to improve our business to achieve a more sustainable future.

What does BSCI (Business Social Compliance Initiative) Certified mean?

BSCI is the European social monitoring system for the ethical sourcing initiated by the FTA. BSCI unites hundreds of companies around one common Code of Conduct to improve working conditions in the global supply chain. BSCI Code of Conduct is built on the most important International Conventions protecting workers’ rights. All BSCI participants commit to implement the Code in their supply chains. BSCI does this by providing them with a range of interlinked activities/tools to achieve a socially compliant supply chain.

BSCI 11 principles include:

  • The rights to Freedom of Association and Collective Bargaining
  • No Discrimination
  • Fair Remuneration
  • Decent Working Hours
  • Occupational Health & Safety
  • No Child Labour
  • Protection of Young Workers
  • No Precarious Employment
  • No Bonded Labour
  • Protection of the Environment
  • Ethical Business Behaviour
